Overview / Comments

Bellows Falls is an incorporated village located in the town of Rockingham in Windham County, Vermont. Bellow Falls abuts the Connecticut river separating VT from NH, and is located 1 hour east of Manchester VT, and 30 Min north of Brattleboro VT & Keene NH.

The community was settled in 1753 by colonists of English descent, who called it Great Falls. Later the settlers renamed the town for Colonel Benjamin Bellows, a landowner, but kept the name Great Falls for the waterfall.

The downtown is very walkable, and residents and visitors enjoy easy walks through the Village, hiking and biking trails on the surrounding mountains.

Nestled in the downtown square is 39-41 The Square which is a 22,420 SF masonry building comprised primarily of office space with street retail units on the ground floor. Notable tenants include H&R Block Simone's Styling Salon, Greater Falls Community Alliance.
